Cardinals 6, Memphis 2 (AP)
Anthony Reyes capped off a strong spring in his final start before the regular season and reserve catcher Gary Bennett hit a grand slam to help the St. Louis Cardinals defeat the Memphis Redbirds 6-2 on Friday. Bennett’s two-out eighth-inning homer to left came on a 3-2 pitch off Memphis reliever Andy Cavazos.

Baseball ticket prices up 2.5 percent; Red Sox have highest average again (AP)
The increase in baseball ticket prices slowed this year. Baseball’s major league average is $22.69 this season, the Team Marketing Report said Friday, up 2.5 percent from last year’s adjusted average of $22.14. Boston has the highest average for the 10th straight season, going up 2.7 percent to $47.71.
